About

Mrs. Wells graduated from Lamar University with a vocal degree under Dr. Barbara Mathis.  She has also studied voice under Dr. Lynn Lamkin and Debra Greschner.  She studied vocal diction under Hal Lanier.

She first taught music in the public school system and then homeschooled her daughters until they finished 3rd grade.  She teaches music for Mid-County Homeschool Co-op and for the Musical Theater department at PNGHS.

She is an active member of the PNE PTA and on the board for Beaumont Interfaith Choral Society.

Mrs. Wells has performed in many styles of voice including, classical, musical theater, jazz, country, and pop.  She has a vocal range from G3-F6.

Heard her?

Mrs. Wells has been a soloist for the Symphony of Southeast Texas, Beaumont Interfaith Choral Society, PNG Faculty Band, and The Night and Day Orchestra. You might have seen Mrs. Wells in BCP’s productions “Xanadu”, Lady of the Lake in “Spamalot”, Inga in “Young Frankenstein the Musical”, and as a featured soloist in their “Taste of the Tony’s” fundraiser gala.

Currently…

She was recently CO-Music Director for Beaumont Community Player’s production of Scrooge the Musical and also played the role of Mrs. Cratchit. She is currently the music director for BCP’s upcoming musical “Disaster the Musical” and PNG High School’s One Act Play production of “Lend Me A Tenor.”
